The URBS network of research Libraries in Rome was established in 1992 to create an on-line union catalog.
 The specialist collections include works on archaeology, history, history of art and architecture, philology, church history, law and social sciences. The catalog also includes other collections of rare printed books, original photographs and musical scores.

Istituto Svizzero di Roma: The Swiss Institute has fully integrated its collection of swiss literature in the online catalog. More than 4000 titles of primary and secondary sources are now available in the URBS catalog.


Istituto Archeologico Germanico: the library is open from January 26, 2009.
