École
française de Rome Palazzo
Farnese, Piazza Farnese, 67 - 00186 Rome
Admission: Applications for admission are accepted from 10:00 to 14.00 only. A letter of introduction or an up-to-date professional identity card is required. A photograph for the reader’s card will be taken on the spot. Access is normally granted to those working on the doctorate (“dottorandi”), to university instructors (professors, adjunct professors, and researchers) and to staff of archaeological superintendencies and museums. Access is not granted to readers with the four-year degree (“laurea quadriennale secondo il vecchio ordinamento") or three-year degree (“laurea triennale secondo il nuovo ordinamento"). Students in their fifth year of a specialized degree ("quinto anno della laurea specialistica”) are, however, admitted. When a publication is owned only by this institute, it is possible to obtain a daily pass, by making an appointment between 10:00 and 14:00. |
