The library has about 40.000 titles of monographs. Archaeology, architecture, fine arts, philology, history and history of arts are the principal disciplines. The sections about Rome, Lazio and Italy are the richest, but the library has also a great collection of volumes of art, literature, history and geography of Switzerland. The library doesn't effect any loan.

New: The library of the Swiss Institute offers a new service to its users. It's now possible to listen to the historical and contemporary audio collections of the Swiss National Sound Archives through a simple internet connection within the library. For more info, visit us.
