The collective catalog of the URBS network currently consists of about 111,000 bibliographic records.
In addition to ancient and modern printed publications – monographic and periodical – it also includes graphic materials, prints, maps, musical recordings and scores, analytical descriptions, and electronic resources.
It is based on a multilingual authority file and is enriched with additional information-the Authority Boxes. It is constantly updated with the latest publications in the field in the different European languages.

Printed Books

The URBS collection concentrates on the fields of the humanities. It includes Italian and Mediterranean archaeology, ancient history, Italian topography (in particular, Rome and Latium), ancient religions, epigraphy, numismatics, papyrology, classical literature and philology, ecclesiastical and medieval history, art history, architecture, modern and contemporary art, Italian literature, the humanities and communication sciences.
